Our Story

Macy and Paul Lopez, the owners of Fly High Dance and Performing Arts, are a happy couple who love giving back, and have a desire to make the world a better place. Macy and Paul are high school sweethearts, who both graduated from Allen High School. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Brinley is a sassy 6 year old, and Harli is a sweet and silly 4 year old. Both girls love gymnastics and Brinley is currently competing on Fly High's competitive mini's team.

At home they have 3 large dogs and a cat named Emmy. Macy has been dancing for 23+ years , and always knew she wanted to own her own studio. Macy faced an unsafe environment as an adolescent, and from that strives to provide not only a high quality studio but also a safe place for students to grow. Paul is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Allen, teaches swim lessons in the summer and runs a Christmas light business in the winter.

The Lopez family is a very busy family, and their children are at the studio most nights with them, but they love that their daughters get to grow up in the studio with big sisters and brothers. Macy and Paul can not wait to meet you and your children! They believe it takes a village to raise a child and can’t wait to be apart of your village
